winter Services

As the colder weather rolls in, the team at Progeny Lawn Care wants to ensure your property stays safe, accessible and looking fantastic all winter long.  Progeny offers packaged snow removal and Winter Services.  Our schedule for 2026-27 is filling quickly and we have limited capacity.

Save time and hundreds, if not thousands of dollars!  Do your outdoor maintenance in the Winter and save money on bed cleanups, bed edging, bush/tree trimming, gutter cleaning, pet waste pickup, etc.  Avoid more costly Spring maintenance by doing it early!

You don’t have to freeze or lift a heavy shovel this season.  Whether you need regular winter maintenance or dependable snow and ice management, our professional crews are ready to do the heavy lifting.

Our Winter & Snow Service Packages Include:

1.    Snow and Ice Removal: Plowing, shoveling, and de-icing/salting walkways and driveways.
2.    Pet Waste Removal - left in white trash bags in the customer's waste receptacle or by garage door.
3.    Removal of any weeds or brown plant material from beds (Not always able to complete in one service visit if there is a large number of beds or large beds).
4.    Blowing Out, Raking and Bagging of any remaining leaves (Not always able to complete in one service visit)
5.    Bush Trimming - Particularly limbs coming in contact with the house or outbuildings
6.    Gutter Cleaning - First Floor Only. Inspecting and re-connecting downspouts.
7.    Fallen limbs and stick pickup
8.    Window well cleaning
9.    Removing tree limbs that are coming in the contact with the house - First Floor Only.
10.    Garden bed cleanup
11.    Blowing off / Sweeping off patios and decks
12.    Trash pickup
13.    Removing and coiling hoses
14.    Refuse pile removal (Green material only)
15.    Air conditioner winterizing
16.    Edging trees and mulch beds with a half-moon edger as ground conditions allow
17.    Raking mulch back into beds if washed out
18.    Property Inspection Videos for winter-absent homeowners.  Giving you peace of mind.  
 
Employees will mark off the item that they completed during each visit.  Home owners may request in advance for specific items from the list to be done on a given week.

Twice a month visits occur from November through February.

Any services not completed in a given service visit will be completed in subsequent visits.

 

Exclusions:

1. Progeny will not cut down large trees with a girth more than 15 inches.

2. Gutters above the first floor will not be part of the Winter Services. 

3. Maximum height of limbs must not exceed 14 feet.

 

 

Only items on the list of Winter Services can be completed during a scheduled service visit.  If a customers would like to use the service visit for a non-listed service, a request needs to be made to the Progeny Command Center to see if the request is feasible within the allotted time frame and within the allotted pricing.  If not a separate quote will be provided for the client's consideration.

 

Progeny employees will check off completed items during each visit (within Jobber).  If an item cannot be completed entirely within the service visit, they will put notes into the Job which will be consulted as an input for the next service visit. 

 

All green waste is to be left at the client's curbside for city pickup or at the client's burn pile.

 

Customers will be billed at the completion of each service.
